Striving towards a better tomorrow

Striving towards a better tomorrow

We’re driven to help our Partners and Changemakers to:

  • Improve the quality of air within their local communities and global spheres of influence

  • Allocate impact capital
to shift the needle on transport emissions

  • Deliver environmental justice to
    underrepresented communities

  • Accelerate the uptake of renewable energy generation

  • Align their sustainability and climate change commitments with the people and places that matter the most to them

  • Reward and incentivise meaningful emission reductions within supply chains

  • Enhance grid stability and fuel security all over the world

  • Receive recognition for the valuable contributions they are making towards the Global Goals for Sustainable Development

Powered for the Planet

We’re dedicated to driving a clean transport future for a thriving planet

Our motivation

The World Health Organisation (WHO) identified that around 99% of the world’s population lives in air quality below their accepted limits (WHO, 2019).

There is no safe level of air pollution.

Air pollution is one of the most severe global health risks, and the majority of the burden is borne by low- and middle-income populations.

Transport related air pollution is particularly severe in urban areas due to a higher concentration of vehicles producing tailpipe emissions at ground level.

This has a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of communities. Children are the most vulnerable to combustion fumes, breathing 2-3 times more air pollution than adults, at a height where tailpipe pollutants are most concentrated.*

Immunocompromised and elderly populations are also significantly impacted by air pollutants derived from the combustion of fossil fuels which inflame airways and exacerbate conditions such as asthma, respiratory diseases and heart conditions.

We’re on a mission to change this for the benefit of people and planet all over the world.
